I've loved this album since the day I first experienced it as a teen in the 70's

I remember someone I used to work with about ten years ago raving about Scott Walker. It only took me about nine years to find out why, and now I love Scott 1-4.

I hope the new one's as good as the last, which I really liked, and this (unofficial) Air album that came before it. Just put it on:

I have had 10,000Hz for years but it gets little airplay - and again I have not made it all the way through. The kids have gone Air crazy so I hear Moon Safari and Pocket Symphony (as well as lots of Mika today Roll Eyes ) constantly.

Think I will show them the Charlotte album next as it is pretty good.

Bought the Kings albums today and will mellow again to them later.

I will have to try again as it did nothing for me last time I tried. Will wait until I think I am in the right mood!

I'm with Lontano on this one. What is it that people hear, in him?

As I continue my analysis this seems wonderfully comforting......., it may be a long night!

You guys should take comfort in the final words of Christian Johann Heinrich Heine, a journalist, essayist, literary critic, and one of the most significant German romantic poets, who, on his death bed realised that...

Just returned from a stroll down a quiet lane and managed to hear the complete Bon Iver NPR concert recorded live from Washington DC's Rock and Roll Hotel. The gig was on the release date of 'For Emma' last year. Walking along at dusk, with the planes stacking en route to Stanstead added to the atmosphere. I'll find some other gentle stuff to stick on the ipod and try this again. I reckon a stroll listening to 'Echoes' might be good.

Next up on the briks is my purchase fro last night...

I have waxed lyrical about this album several times, a stunning piece of crystalline perfection.
