The Beatles in Mono box set came in the post this morning, so...

The Beatles - "Please Please Me"
The Beatles - "With The Beatles"

Both sounding good, though don't have earlier versions to compare with.

Then for a change of pace, some Romanian black metal

Negura Bunget - "OM"

icy, atmospheric & at times punishing Smile

I will probably be playing the Beatles for the rest of the weekend.

I am not so keen on the Fleet Foxes, but think I will join you on the Andrew Bird album. I have been meaning to play it for a while.

Have you tried the album by the Low Anthem - you might enjoy it based on these selections. Cheers
