Jeff - thanks for this. It sounds pretty interesting so might look out for it next time I am in the music store. I see that he is married to Madonna's sister.

Shifting my preference from Pretzel Logic to this one.
O, and for some days now I'm "into" The Beatles to find out they have a significantly larger amount of hits than I thought they had!

Adrian and Gordon,
You are welcome. Madonna has recorded several songs he has written which I am sure keeps the residuals fairly steady.
His early stuff leans toward country influences, the Jayhawks were the backing band on Short Man's Room. Shuffletown includes some jazzy influences with Ornette Coleman on several cuts. Fuse was a transition period and Scar, and Tiny Voices in particular, were a first sign of the complexity that has continued with Civilians and Blood From Stars.
I hope you find something to like there.

ps thanks for the photos of the small room and the Neats, very very nice. Enjoy.

Mark, I like it more with every listen and I put the acoustic ep at the end of the disc and it makes a wonderful hour of music.
be well and be safe,

ps any pointers on exploring Ani DeFranco ? I know she is well liked but don't know her music and I think I have seen you make some posts.
