ROTF about time, some decent music.
You do like to overload on one artist don't you?

I'm eagerly awaiting ROTF's Chas 'n' Dave selection.

Meanwhile:

Is she any good?

I love her work, she like Lorreena McKennitt and Lucinda Williams hits the spot for me, unlike Kate W and BB.
It seems to be that first time of hearing, is it's right or wrong?

Try her on spotify plenty of her albums there.

Ah Colosseum - wonderful music - JH what a guy.

Yes Stu - MCC is very very very very good, if not better: so is Nick Drake, of course.

Howard - we agree for sure on MCC and I, too, like LM and LW, though not as much as MCC. I like KW too. Of BB, her first elpee was just so original that I was enchanted by it and I still think it is one the greatest records ever made: I doubt any singer/songwriter has made a debut that impressed me more.

With MCC though, she has maintained high quality over lots of recordings. I think she just stands out as America's finest recording artist and there have been many (Joni, Melanie, Grace, JC Fogerty, Tiny Tim).

In case anybody doesn't know just how good Mary is then please click here and you'll hear for yourself one of the best songs ever.

Now there was a woman

A few years ago Wendy James moved from London to New York and recorded under the pseudonym Racine, the name of a drag strip in Chicago which also means "roots" in French.
