Superb album imho

Agreed. Seen them live last novemeber and it was one great track after the other - they rocked it! Hoping new album is at least equal.

Thank you Jeff. Another sail race tomorrow afternoon, and the last chance to win the "Autumn Cup". The sun is firmly requested and he better be there!

Have a sunny weekend too

I will go and have a listen just on the back of seeing that great album cover.
The left hand.

Have a look at this video munch, it's so cute Smile

The story is about a guy who receives a perfumed letter by mistake, from a girl who warns she will jump down a cliff if her lover does not come back to her. He immediately falls in love with this unknown girl and hit the road to go save her.

Might sound a bit childish, but the lyrics are great... but in french.

PS: Hope your back gets better soon.

Hi Stuart

I enjoy it. Stephanie is a local singer/songwriter and on this release she worked with a local keyboard whiz Keith Schreiner, so it is primarily her vocals backed by acoustic guitar and beats and electronica. I think it turned out quite well.

I will be seeing her live (again) on Oct 23 with Mr Schreiner as the mid act with McKinley opening and then McKinley and Stephanie join Lara Mitchell in their "other" group-project Dirty Martini.

best regards,
Jeff A

Ouch! A bit hard in the morning, but promising.

Soul Jazz - and its Universal Sound subsidiary in this particular case - is definitely a label from which I can confidently buy blind.
