I'm glad you're interested in An Emerald City. I think the album may have only been released in NZ so far but will find out if/when the album will be released in Europe and let you know.
Failing that you can always order from one of NZ's online retailers. If you google Marbecks it should give you a link to a suitable site to do this.
You should also check out Jakob 'Solace' - another great NZ band who toured Europe last year.
King Size,

Thanks for your help, I already ordered Circa Scaria in the webshop of Amplifier.co.nz.
Also I tried to find some samples of the album Solace made by Jakob, but had no result on the web.

Because I've just watched the Loud QUIET Loud doco about Pixies, and I'm having a Pixfest - from an era when body hair was acceptable.

Hi Paul,
Glad you found it. I got word that they are hoping for a European release, but it could be a while away...

They pointed me to undertheradar for vinyl, Smoke CD's for the CD and amplifier for a digital download of the album.

Try Conspiracy Records for the Jakob album - I see they have it for sale on vinyl and CD in their online store as well as a few audio clips to to listen to.

Cheers
Chris

think I prefer this to her subsequent 2 Dreaming and the Orchard. Sounds better to me as well, the band not compressed, very nice.

With a little help from my friends in Japan I added a few Black Triangles to my collection today.

The Abbey Road Black Triangle from 1983 is very rare and widely considered the best Beatles recording on CD. My expectations were very high and this disc easily exceeded them - can't recall the last time a CD almost made me cry - for joy. Cool

Since it has been done before there is hope for the remasters, this one set the bar very high.

Another Black Triangle with amazing sound.
