But for now something softer. I love this guy, solo or with Hazy Malaze.

Rubbish cover for such a brilliant piece of history

Ok, ok, as munch is calling for "classics"... a bit less well known though.

Family, Entertainment

Wish it was on black; it's on silver, but an old one and not so bad.

Ah! The Weaver's Answer makes me shiver each and every time.

Today's tunes

Elizabeth & The Catapults - Taller Children

Neil Young - Everybody Know This Is Nowhere, After the Gold Rush. Both the new remasters. I think they sound better than the older CDs (I have older copies of Harvest and After the Gold Rush).

2nd play of The Low Anthem right now.

Sounds like a nice menu Winker
I thought I had some SH&CR on a movie soundtrack somewhere, but I can't find it. I must get their first 3 albums one day.

One more Weaver's Answer and off to bed!

Oh, by the way Stu, I've just noticed a special edition of Renan Luce's Repenti with bonus DVD, in a shop the other day. I has the cute video of La Lettre in it and it's not that expensive.

It's on Amazon UK here.

Good night

Richard Hawley - Truelove's Gutter. I did not manage to get a copy of this before the gig last week, as I could not get it either at the gig or in the local supermarkets or HMV, so this arrived through the door this morning via Amazon.

A very good album, with very good tunes. On stage he seems to get more out of the songs as the band can crank up the constituent parts in a way that is probably less listener friendly on a iPod/radio.

Regards

Nic
