Brilliant line up although I am not familiar with this album. Steve Gadd is one of my favorite drummers of all time.
I just ordered on LP from Amazon.
Kuma shoud like it too I think.

Hotel Costes 7.
re: Gagaku and Beyond.
Jeremy,
I could be persuaded if there is some funk element to it. Hope it goes WAY beyond Gagaku.

It's more 'monk' than 'funk'

It was given to me from a colleague on my night-shift,
i'm too tired to play it a 3rd time, really need to get to bed (nevermind Gagaku)
I've love to get a vinyl copy! : >

it can't be too much like Gagaku if you played 3 times.
It's one of the most annoying music I have heard. Soothing as listening to bag pipes. ( in a slower rotation ) :x

Family, Entertainment![]()
Wish it was on black; it's on silver, but an old one and not so bad.
Ah! The Weaver's Answer makes me shiver each and every time.
I worked on there farwell tour.
Stu
Means you and I were in the same room once Stu as I saw them on that tour in the old Empire in Edinburgh on Sept 25th.
Do you remember this man and his piano as the solo b band??![]()
Nope was in the pub the Stewart's Bar now called the Brass Monkey just round the corner in Drummond Street and never saw the support. If my memory serves right I also missed the start of the Family set due to still being in the pub.
Meant to say that I also saw Free there earlier on the same year.

Cheers Stu, I seem to remember you were pretty ill, at the time and must have simply been delirious after too much night nurse

Nic,
I have just found a jiffy with a Josh Redmond cd in it down the back of my record rack behind the S on the floor covered in dust and a jiffy for Jeff.
They must of been there for months.
Will get them in the post this week before the strike.

Wow. I've just received this in the box this morning, now to learn that AF will exchange the discs because of a mastering glitch (false double start on Call Me The Breeze)...
Anyway, it's good they care.
Otherwise the sound is superb.
Lynyrd Skynyrd, Second Helping
AF seems to have quite a few QA problems these days: Morrison Hotel, Pretenders, now this one...
