Underworld 'Tempatation II, 1 Jan 1999' and 'Bootleg Babies' (RTSR compilation), both bootlegs, and both among my favorite Underworld recordings (some overlap between the two).
King of Snake pt1, with Moaner lyrics from 'Tempatation II' is amazing, as is 'Dark Train' which is on both.

Im an Underworld Fan - but not sure why you are showing these 'bootlegs' here when on your web pages you say 'I retain the copyright to these artworks' - for your cover designs!!! Just wondering are these tunes commercially available? How did you get them - legally?

Hi Stu

Ray LaMontagne "Empty" from "Till The Sun Turns Black" album

She lifts her skirt up to her knees
Walks through the garden rows with her bare feet, laughing
I never learned to count my blessings
I choose instead to dwell in my disasters

Walk on down the hill
Through the grass grown tall and brown
And still it's hard somehow to let go of my pain
On past the busted back
Of that old and rusted Cadillac
That sinks into this field collecting rain

Will I always feel this way
So empty, so estranged

Of these cutthroat busted sunsets
These cold and damp white mornings I have grown weary
If through my cracked and dusty dimestore lips
I spoke these words out loud would no one hear me

Lay your blouse across the chair
Let fall the flowers from your hair
And kiss me with that country mouth so plain
Outside the rain is tapping on the leaves
To me it sounds like they're applauding us
The quiet love we make

Will I always feel this way
So empty, so estranged

Well I looked my demons in the eye
Laid bare my chest said do your best destroy me
See I've been to hell and back so many times
I must admit you kinda bore me

There's a lot of things that can kill a man
There's a lot of ways to die
Yes and some already dead who walk beside you
There's a lot of things I don't understand
Why so many people lie
Well it's the hurt you hide that fuels the fires inside you

Jeff A

Not keen on this his new album due out next Monday Jeff. Used to be a big Matthew fan many moons ago but went off him.

I am still enjoying his stuff, so will need to give it a go. I just searched a few artists several days ago to see if they had anything new on the horizon. He was one of them - but I came up empty for info, so thank you very much for letting me and others know about this.

best regards

Or is it one of his?

Credits on the cd show he wrote it, I don't know him to do any covers.

Hi Jeff

I would try and contact a RTSR member by email if I were you.

Underworld have been fairly positive about the RTSR group, and they are on their own label, so legality is not a issue as far as they are concerned.

As for the artworks, often when a new recording comes through to members of RTSR, someone will contact me and ask if I have time to make a cover artwork. The artworks are free for anyone to use for themselves. The copyright is only there to prevent people profiting from something that has been created to share freely, such as on Ebay.

'Bootleg Babies' has been very widely distributed, and was available as MP3s from a website linked from the official Underworld website for quite a while.

I hope that helps
