Doug,
Are you using km for my benefit or did you grow up with them as well?

A great box-set. I perhaps like this volume (II) the best.

Over The Rhine - Live From Nowhere, Vol. 4

Posted on: 25 October 2009 by Ian G.
Over the Rhine are a fantastic band - I wish they'd take the trouble to come and tour over here in the UK.
Chilling out with this now.

Haim, I grew up mainly with metric system but can do both if I have to. The metric system just makes sense; English measurements/units should have been buried along time ago....
Now to fill my mind with music that just makes sense!
Well-Tempered Clavier, Book 1: Preludes and Fugues BWV 846-869
Johann Sebastian Bach: Till Fellner (Piano)
Venue: Jugendstiltheater, Vienna, Austria 09/2002

Hi Ian,
I'm surprised they haven't been there. I am thinking of driving up to Washington DC to see them in December. Appears a lot of bands I want to see do a fly-by of my state.

Do you recommend Angela Hewitt's Goldberg Variations? I don't have any, and looking for a good album to check out.
Best regards,
Pat

I enjoy the Hewitt Goldbergs very much indeed. As with all things there will be other opinions but this disc gets a lot of play-time in my house.
Cheers,

Thanks Ian. I will check it out.
Broughton H.S. Wow! Used to be on one of my bike ride routes when I lived in the Five Points area in the mid-90s. Small world.

Best regards,

Played the DCC CD last night, showed me how much work I still have to do to get my new listening room fully set up.
