Might need one or two listens, James.

Played the DCC CD last night, showed me how much work I still have to do to get my new listening room fully set up.

Oliver, As you know it is one of my all time favorites and great for giving the system a good work out.

I'm glad you are getting settled..even if it is slowly. Smile

If I'd had this album as a vinyl, it would be so thin by now it would only have one side left...

Camel, Pressure Points

For a reason I cannot explain, this album is rarely mentioned. It's a pity, as I find it's his most adventurous with its "world" flavour and the presence of real musicians (among them Adrian Belew, Marcus Miller and Laurie Anderson), albeit somewhat less easy and less commercial than his other offerings. A beautiful journey not to be overlooked.

Jean-Michel Jarre, Zoolook

I'm currently playing s 3 x LP box-set. Luigi Boccherini Symphonien op.35 no.1-6
A very fast and lively start to the symphonies!

How are the quartets?

Debs,

The vinyl was out just for the quartets (which are very good) and Brahms piano trios on Telefunken as well.

This record has a special place in the development of HiFi. It is also a very fine piece of music.
