Manitas de Plata - Et Les Siens

Recorded live at Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer.

Picked up on vinyl second hand for £1.99, what a bargain

KK,

If you like this you might also want to try this compilation, which is another Music Maker Recording.

The shop can be accessed here and has lots of other goodies as well.

Nic

Yup, new one is great but the first album has real atmosphere, you can hear the crickets chirping!

Jacaszek tagged as electronica/experimental/classical....... I have the album Treny which is very atmospheric and in terms of mood I would suggest Funeralic. Indeed rendering Joy Divison the next Nolans tribute band........... Listen and weep at its minimalism and gloom

Picture shows the group off to a beano on the beach around a bonfire with some tinnies and a boom box(not pictured)

Playing the Sage in Gateshead soon.

This is a piece of music I find very comforting when I have a bad day ...... immersion in it is very calming and restorative.
