My only SHM-CD with Better by You, Better Than Me sounding a bit 'thin'. Mind you, Hangman Hang My Shell on a Tree sounds very good.

If you like some of the vintage Pixes artwork Mat, just wait until you see the re-issue box set later this year and the new art...! Cool

Thanks Steve...I didn't know they were bringing one out...one of the few bands I can honestly say I'm a hopeless fan of...so I'll buy it. Just listening/watching this through an old NAD dvd player that always surprises me in that it sounds good...

That's a great live DVD - a lot of fun! I thought a lot of their stuff sounded great acoustic...

Yeah, I posted something a few months back about the re-issues....All the back catalogue albums are being re-issued as a special set. I don't have the 100% spec but there will be one luxury package including a 14" x 21" 64 page booklet...and then the special edition package (3000) will include the book, slip cased 5 vinyl LP each one being gatefold, and 5 set cd and blueray disk for each album. There will be a version of the book for both CD and LP packages...LP and CD/blueray set may be sold off individually as might the book....

It's not actually a 4AD release, but Vaughan Oliver has art directed the new package and all the new photography has been done this last year by my good mate out here Simon - who was responsible for all the classic Pixeis album photography/covers...

Should be a nice thing to own Smile

It is always Bavouzet versus Michelangeli when it comes to Debussy's piano music. I could say that Bavouzet plays it like a Nait 3 (a bit warmer and slower) while Michelangeli is more like a Nait 5i (sparkling and faster).
