Sounding magnificent on the black stuff. PRaT with aplomb. A blissful Friday in with the daughter. I do love those red leather slacks.

Strawbs disc 2

"A duo that plays Italian roots music. Jazz is one component, but North Italian folk traditions predominate, alongside music of the classical tradition, film and theatre music, hints of mazurka, tango, klezmer and more. The music Trovesi and Coscia celebrate on "In cerca di cibo" --it means "in search of nourishment" - is deeply and touchingly nostalgic. It is music that is, by turns yearning, mournful, humourous, joyous, poetic, and sentimental. N.B: Liner notes for this release are by Umberto Eco."

Fun music, highly recommended

[ADD] BMG Music International (eurodisc) 3 x CD box-set @ 1990

I clearly remember buying this 3 cd box-set in 1994 at the local W.H.Smiths.
It sure doesn't seem like 16 years ago, and nor has time faded my liking for this set, have been enjoying them very much ever-since : )

Purchased this and Red (both the 30th anniversary editions) yesterday from Rise Music for £5 each. Also picked up 'The Rotters Club' by Hatfield and the North for the same price - what a brilliant piece of prog that is!
