Just realized what class DH was, sadly cut short in his prime.

Haven't heard this in years, there's soulful groove on a few of the tracks which I had forgotten about.

Why? Anyone who is starting to get into electronic music and is feeling the itch to try something a little more "adventurous" should grab this...
The Rushup Edge by The Tuss (AKA Aphex Twin)
you won't be disappointed. The album cover is a little plain so some Richard D James artwork for your pleasure.

Got this piece of vinyl for few quid in Oxfam, Lancaster. If you have 5 minutes to spare then you could do much worse than sitting down and listening to Scott sing If You Go Away - sublime. Especially if you have a good glass of red wine in your hand.

Couldn't agree with you more.

Yes I believe you are right and also some guitar from David Gilmour
I think I will have to check this one out.![]()
It's a good album, but don't expect it to sound like the early 'Project' albums whos sound was more influenced by Eric Woolfson. Alan produced Try Anything Once, On Air, and The Time Machine before moving on to A Valid Path. If you've heard these albums, then the transition is understandable, but to move direct could be a surprise. He does blend in some familiar pieces such as MammaGamma 04 which builds upon the original version off Eye in the Sky, but overall the sound is heavier and more synthesiser based, but with some great guitar work.

Side Four because I love Reed's 'grumpy old man' banter as he bemoans the success of 'walk on the wild side'.

Why? Because I'm in the mood to huddle in the safety of a pseudo silk kimono.
