CSS - Donkey; Animal Collective - Merriweather Post Pavilion


I put down Merriweather Post Pavilion after the first listen a few months ago. Revisited today. Seems to warrant further listening; one of those albums that grows on you.

A friend of mine picked up this LP for me at a gig Edwyn Collins did in Helmsdale, a small village between Inverness and Thurso, earlier this year (This is Hope & Despair from 1989). First listen - pretty good. Something in the voice made me dig around for some Psychedelic Furs...
