If you are asking about the Patricia Barber recordings then they are out of print now. Check Amazon.com and you'll see some there but not so cheap. They sound great but so do the original discs of these recordings as well. Patricia Barber has a very high recording standard. If not ebay or Steve Hoffman forum.

Cheers

Hi Bazz - how are you? As I was putting on her Fortnight in France album, I was immediately reminded of driving near your house. The album always reminds me of the drive from Sydney to Port Stephens where you drive over that steel bridge over the river near Newcastle after turning off the F3. God knows why but I must have had it on the car stereo there once!

Hi Adrian, never better thanks, although a bit hot, 39 here yesterday!

I recall taking the MFSL Cafe Blue around to your place one night to compare with Verse, we discussed the silly prices one of them (can't remember which) was bringing on Ebay.

I think it was your Cafe Blue as that seems to have been out of print for a long time. Until recently, the others were still available. Hope your hi-fi is handling the heat! Could do with a bit of Aussie sun on my back.

I bought mine always through 'elusivedisc' in the US but I have to figure something new out now I moved to the UK, I will refuse to pay VAT or duty on the shipment.

I've got the non MOFI HDCD version and it sounds superb and still available. We should try a shoot out on this disc.

Thing is, I saw it in his shop as well. I bought Verse and Modern Cool MOFIs there but did not pick up Cafe Blue. By the time I wanted it it was long gone. Good catch there Bazz.

I miss a lot of the music stores in Sydney. Much, much better than London/South and easier to access than here in UK.

Not the best recording, which is a shame as this is a good elpee.
