Thanks. I have never really listened much to her - I think I have the Essential album somewhere. Will add this one to the wishlist.

... just noticed that both covers have the appropriate seasonal touch. Winker

Having spoken to a few people about her in the past, it seems that you either like her or you don't. For me, this and Pearl are 2 of my favourite records that I simply don't tire of.

I hope you like it.

DenisA,
These are very good, But i think the new remastered CDs, especially - Angel Eyes are suffering from the "Loudness War" plague and are a little unpleasent to listen to, unfortunatly they don't do Kiki any favours.

Chris N

Chris,

Thanks for the tip about the remasters. I only have Loving & Free and I've Got the Music in Me on vinyl. I will get both the CD's listed here, cos I like what i've heard. I will post as soon as Kiki announces tour dates next year. I saw her just the once in the 70's and I have never seen a more nervous performer... at the start. Her confidence gradually grew and made fellow hippies happy Winker

This lot on my 10-hour journey home last night (320 motorway miles!). Frown Eek

Their best album IMO, and a long way from "Dare".

Again, my favourite album from this band. Japan at their peak and "Methods Of Dance" as my standout track. I've always loved "Nightporter" as well, a pre-cursor for Sylvian's solo work.

And finished with this on the home straight, nice and loud..........

MOFI 33 1/3 RPM Brecker's final album with Herbie Hancock, Pat Metheny, Brad Meldhau, Jack de Johnette and John Patitucci. Now that's a good line up.
