That should last a while.
Just got mine in the mail the other day. It "should" keep me from buying new music for a while.

Thought I would try this as it seems to have made a few year end lists and be well regarded. Resident Records in Brighton have it as their album of the year.

Had an excellent turntable evening. Eva Cassidy "Songbird", Diane Krall "Live in Paris", Phil Collins "In the air tonight" and ZZ Top "Tres Hombres". Finally, a Japanese SHM cd, Suzanne Vega "Retrospective".

Can't say I was too impressed with that Animal Collective album, so something a little better to close the evening of music. Remastered vinyl. A bit too much crackle in this pressing - will be returning this one.

Also you need to buy in bulk polly paper sleeves.
You cant leave the new vinyl in what they come in.
I will mail you a link.
Stu
I put all my records that are not already in decent inners, into these excellent MOFI inners

They are imported, three-ply, anti-static, premium sleeves (similar to rice paper) and work with both LPs and laser discs. Back construction consists of a paper layer sandwiched between two sheets of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with a translucent HDPE front.
I am not sure cleaning will fix this copy. Best get a new pressing. Only played first album as time for sleep. Will try second after a nice long lie in

Cheers

Well this is not normally something I would go far, but I have been given tkts for the Albert Hall and thought I would give it a try. In some ways they remind me of Porcupine Tree with a nice harmonic and often orchestral touch to the music and behind that rather silly death metal raging vocal that dominates a couple of tracks there's a great voice and some excellent musicianship; which encompases styles from folk to progressive rock. This is one of the nice surprises of the year; looking forward to listening to Blackwater Park now as I believe they will be playing it in full..

If you ignore the death metal vocals, their albums are superb with wonderful musicianship and when they sing normally, it sounds so sweet. Blackwater Park is very good.
Their album Damnation is my favourite and NO Death Metal vocls on this at all.
Blackwater Park and Damnation feature Steve Wilson of PT fame and he produces the albums.
I saw them last year and it was a good concert experience. Enjoy.
