Late last night, iPod and headphones, Antony and The Johnsons: The Crying Light. Strange, subtle and really rather brilliant. I'm not absolutely sure what he is signing about but the mood created is quite mesmerising.

"Epilepsy is dancing
She’s the Christ now departing
And I’m finding my rhythm
As I twist in the snow"

I mised 'I am a Bird Now', perhaps distracted by the hype and the attention on his sexual identity etc. I'll be ordering it soon.

Gerry Rafferty 1973 compilation of The Humblebums output on vinyl, with sleeve notes by Charles Shaar Murray of the NME. A recent second hand purchase.

Underworld and Tangerine Dream, mostly while driving to and from Manchester/Staly Bridge shoot locations, or dozing in the car waiting to be called on set.
