Funnily enough Stu, my wife is expecting our first and Jethro is in there with a shout.
I've just flipped on an old favourite from my youth...

Thanks Stu..just had the 20week scan today and all looked ok, if a little bit too scary for my liking.

I saw you were playing EBTG Eden earlier...Apron Strings off that, was a factor in me deciding being a dad was going to be ok. I knew that already I spose, but you need somebody like Tracy to remind you.

Is that vinyl or CD Flyme and should I search a copy out? because the Ferenc Fricsay I have is the only one I know so another copy would be great to compare, also being an Opera novice it would be good to get to know the big players in the genre.

They are playing at the 3-day Moseley Folk Festival in September that I have tickets for. I have never heard them before so need to check them out - where to start?

Moseley Folk Festival

The Purity beers are pretty good too. Winker

It just wouldn't be me if I wouldn't join you on one of these shiny discs.

Mstislav & Sviatoslav are playing Beethoven's Piano & Cello Sonatas.
A thirty years old LP set in a surprising excellent shape.

If so? Is there much diff between the two?
I have one of the first run pressings.
And love it.

I don't have a regular copy of 'Original Masters' to compare to, I do have regular copies of 'Aqualung' and the Steve Hoffman disc is a significant improvement on all of them, some folks consider it one of Steve's best work.

re: Jethro Tull

Hi Mark

Saw them 3 times in the 70's, once in Baltimore (Passion Play) and twice in Cleveland.

My favorite JT album is "Minstrel In The Gallery"

best regards

I have that album.
Not played it much though.
Will give it ago some time today.

Thanks, Stu.

I hope that you are well, as well.
Do you have both of those Beethoven LPs? Mine are in a box set. I alternate a lot between the LPs and the two CD sets which I have on ECM & DG.

Here is a Mozart's glass harmonica which is always in heavy rotation here:

Haim

Just recently got this Japanese first pressing on e-bay, makes listening to this album fun again, IMO it never sounded so good on CD.
