Terrific, down home, late night, twinkling, room behind the bar feel to it - and stunning musicianship of course

Today, I will be listening to Op. 7 from this early set, then the DG set, and finally tonight I will watch the DVD recent version. Have been working my way through all 32 in this way throughout April....

Doug,

You should squeeze in also a live performance to make the set of the day complete.

I really wish people would mention the artist/album name where it is not obvious from the cover. It's not hard. Roll Eyes

Haim, A very nice choice, thank you. Except for the DVD, I've finished my work on Op. 7 and this is now playing. With this wonderful music playing now I'm also watching snowflakes starting to fall (Yes, it's April 25 and I'm not dreaming)...

another trip in the way back machine. skinny ties and martinis, red cadillac convertibles with white interiors, a pack of unfiltered camels.

very funky memories.

Doug,

We had our nasty snow storm two weeks ago, leaving my yard looking like a war zone with all the branches and small trees down (nine inches of snow on top of ice).

When you are done with today's project, may I recommend:

There were some sound issues between the musician and the producer/recording engineer which finally were resolved and now this exceptional disc is available to the public (I had a copy for a year but was asked not to post it on the forum).
