Courtesy of my dealer!

Initial reaction is that it's Modern Times II.

I hope the decision to include an episode of the wonderful theme time radio was an attempt to promote the show and not proof that Dylan's creative well ran dry just short of a commercial album.

It's always difficult to evaluate a new Dylan album without refering to his past zeitgiest. Hopefully the new album should stand on it's own merits but since both Dylan and his music are chronologically linear, stretching beyond the linesmen, slaves and the wild west, it becomes impossible to judge the new without comparing the old.

Time will tell if this album stands the test of time.

Myself, I welcome another Dylan album, long may he continue.
