Following my introduction to this great band by Munch a week or so ago, I now have all their albums on CD (now ripped to FLAC). First listen tonight so I'll let you know how I get on. Lots of 'atmosphere', tape noise, crickets etc..

Next one up. Read the bit about the grain silo Munch, facinating approach to recording and the second album continues in a similar theme in an old church.

Nice jazz quintet sounds...

I keep playing this as it is probably my favourite album of the year so far. What a superb line up of talented musicians as well with such wonderfully lyrical piano from Mozdzer, wonderful trumpet tone of Eick and of course that bass from Danielsson.

I watched and listened to Later on Beeb 2 tonight.

Maybe I was just in the right mood but I thought the line up was cracking from start to finish. Really fantastic stuff.

Why might anyone be interested? Well, there'll be a longer version of the show going out on Friday night which should be well worth watching/ recording if you aren't around.
