Thanks, Adrian, I thought I was missing one... Public h'day in UK, today, too ?

Stefan - I am at my desk at work. We have a public holiday on Monday. Enjoy your day off work. Think I will try out your Partita idea as well soon as I have all those versions except the Perlman.

Cheers

Hope you don't mind me answering... I don't think it's one of his best. It's an acoustic album but i think his better work is on blues hit big town, on tap, southside blues jam and of course hoodoo.

Sunhouse - Crazy on the Weekend, the perfect CD to start friday night Smile There only seems to be a few wise heads here who have purchased this masterpiece (IMHO Winker). It's available very cheaply here.

This beautifully recorded live album covers some of Callier's earliest tracks, like 1972's brilliant "Ordinary Joe", which gets his set started in breathtaking fashion. From there Alive goes right up to work from Callier's Time Peace and Lifetime, including the cover of Curtis Mayfield's "People Get Ready". The album closes with the 1983 self-financed track that originally sparked Acid Jazz's interest and led to an extra chapter in a story that looked likely to end far too soon.
