I'm playing this one again, it has put both my sons to sleep. The great thing is that some of these CDs have almost audiophile quality.

"April" Sun Kil Moon. Some sad-core from Mark Kozelek, the guy who was the main dude with The Red House Painters. Try this if you liked Bon Iver - "For Emma...", or Beck's "Sea Change".

Just watched the "Classic Album" programme so thought why not listen to it all:-

Is that the Classic Album programme that covered Anthem of the Sun as well. I like American Beauty, but Anthem is my most favourite Dead elpee in the world ever.
Great lyrics
Riding down the river in an old canoe,
A bunch of bugs and an old tennis shoe.
Out of the river all ugly and green,
Came the biggest old alligator that I've ever seen!
Teeth big and pointy and his eyes were buggin' out,
Contracted the union, for the papers to route..
Screamin' and yellin', he was pickin' his chops,
He never runs he just stumbles and hops.
Just out of prison on ten dollars bail,
Mumblin' bitches and waggin' his tail.

TV programme covered both albums, but I only have the one.
