Silje Nergaard?

I've just heard an awesome track by her on disk 1 of "Chilled Jazz". Looking at her website she's received critical acclaim within the European jazz world. I'm keen to learn/hear more...

Dear Graham,

wait for her new album "Darkness out of blue" due in April. I am fortunate to have a pre-recording.

Well, it's beautiful music. Nice melodies, nothing challenging and it's easy to digest, it's almost romantic and sweet.

BUT. It's terrifically well played. Songs that would be faded at 3.30 minutes with lesser bands go on for a further 2.30 minutes because the band plays so engaging.

Well, we all have limited time, but I listened to this album not less than 9 times within two weeks. It's on my personal heavy rotation.

I will go and check out earlier albums.
