I think it's important to point out that the jist of this thread is 101% original, you wont find any recent pointers in either PE, The Tomes, or the whatever bloody else either, innit*

Sorry for letting the side doon Chaps,

Must be Goodnight Finally*

Andy, you misled me old chum! CSO's cannot earn a living purely on their work without other benefits or income, so did you lie, or did you just 'unconsciously deliberately' mislead me with the usual double-talk I don't get paid overtime bollocks?*

Unlike every other er, highly trained Police Officer in the UK?

Cheers, I personally don't give a toss what you write on here Old Son, just nice to remind you occassionally innit John, know what i mean*

Fritz,

Please note you asked me a point of fact. I replied correctly. Police Community Service officers are differant to members of the Special Constabulary. The former are members of UNISON, and are paid a monthly wage, based on shift working etc. The latter are volunteers - as such they don't draw a monthly salary (yet!)

Oh, and I don't get paid O/T at the mo - U r a clever so and so - U work it out!

Oh, remind me of what - being well paid? I know i am paid well for my job - U have no knowledge of my history or upbringing to know whether I appreciate how much I am paid, or indeed how much work i do to 'earn' it.

I won't wait for the apology - bearing in mind this is no deviation from what I initially told you.

Mind u - i ain't sayin' nuffin about the fact you'll do another dodge and say 'i couldn't give a toss' etc - that's called hidin in my book... If you voice an opinion publicly, you expect a repost...

I think it's quite important to ask the likes of Monsieur Parry on this one to see wether you think it has a jist or not? Andy thank you for your reply, and I'm sure your background is nowhere near as heartbreaking as Our Micks is though Son, they bombed his Dad's bloody chippy in Plymouth, and still haven't rebuilt the bugger*

History is history, what you do now and in the future are what are impotent John (touch of a Meredism there I feel) (or is it Meredithism?)*

Fritz von der In my lunchtime rush, I got half a brace of Buds over the road to me; for my freezer and knocking off time, which is now. To my shock, though lightning Wah Kung Fu that esque reactions, I narrowly missed getting a really cut up boat race as one of the bastards exploded whils't picking it u, my new t-shirt colored etc, splattered in blood. Never known that to happen before, and it was well lucky /waste of good piss though naturally. Had to leave in a dash, and slightly pissed off, to enjoy post office stress afore returning to the old bog brush factory. Having just done a re-run for the pigs ears, the bird behind the counter gave me a cracking (intact) Pauliner Weiß Beer World Cup Glass as a sorry for shocking me, and that I wont sue em (Will I?)*

Good start to the weekend methinks, which will officially open in about ten seconds.

Andy Old Bean, it's true what you've just mentioned re reliability of reports etc. Having just enjoyed a marvellous chill-out interview (with ice cold medicinal Bud alongside) from The Hay Festival (Down Our Fredders way) with Vikram Seth (Writer) who seems an exceptionally decent chap (anybody read any of his stuff? I think he's gonna be my next order to my little man for moir).

Yes Our Andy, switch over to Sky on the hour for the gossip as they see it, and weather tells me that Berlin is now 19°C, and there's me thinking it's 29 which it most obviously is*

Doubt it, dude. It's a contracts issue.

Re my agenda - it's simple really. I don't comment on stuff I have no knowledge of. I also don't comment on politics - party differances etc, as it causes too much ruption. I take the piss in a very light way, as realistically in some cases I don't know the individuals behind the names on this forum, and therefore try to be respectful.

I leave the copying/pasting from private eye etc to others*, but am happy to challenge something that I have factual or theoretical knowldege of, provided it's not going to cause me hassle.

One thing that does get my goat is generalisation, rather than specifics. It's easy to say 'you are all crap', when actually not 'all' are actually so.

I end by saying that if you have no agenda, Graham, then why post some of the things you do? Your agenda could simply be to inform, but it's an agenda nontheless...
Posted on: 17 June 2006 by Berlin Fritz
I've often thought how interesting this forum would be Our Andy if everybody took your point if view, which basically isn't one at all at all old Son now is it? I didn't say you had an agenda either, (So I'm interested myself how you come to your own 'facts') and as far as I can see (like certain others on here) you continually just stay with your non point of view though critsise myself, which is perfectly your right to do so, but you never back it up with anything of substance now do you. It's just repetitive old non rhetoric all the bloody same, but with absolutely no substance.

Fritz von With my various quotes and pastes from here and there talking about this and that I intend to pass on thought provoking points, whereas your own stand seemingly wants to put everything down into a little er, box, with 'I'm right written on it' and to question is taboo, by wasting time in going round in circles talking about petty details, which are no more provable on here than generalizations, or giving on forum medical advice, are now are they! and I've seen quite clearly that you yourself only read what you want to read, the very thing I'm accused of on a regular basis, by er, you, and cut out all that respect for other members bull, it just doesn't wash with me, even if you're the bloody Arch Bishop of Canterbury, the only respect on here boils down to Our Adam's discretion, innit *

Cheers and I know what my name is, as does everybody else, but on here it's Berlin Fritz, Sir Dave*

It's like trying to access Britain's wonderful all new Freedom of Information Act Our Beano (Wanna try it?), or like me saying to Our Andy over and over and over again why he feels that the IPPC is independent and fair, when it obviously isn't, backed up with the usual old rhetoric, or rather non-rhetoric.

Fritz von I see that Andy Hayman of the Met's getting an CBE then, what wonderful timing, as well as being investigated by the er, IPPC currently, consisting of not less than a few ex er, senior Met Officers, you just couldn't make it up could you*

Fritz,

To make a view that the IPCC it totally crap is not correct - I assume based on the fact they don't convict in all cases or due to recent events re info getting out that should not have done - please correct me if I am wrong. You also need to appreciate that due to what I do I cannot comment on some investigations. However on various threads I have put my point of view accross - on topics I feel I actually know something about.

Now if you said the IPCC should be made up of legal folk non policey... I can see your point there mucca.

Still I take you advice - I'll back off the repeted rhetoric re certain issues - if you do the same...?

On the diff between PCSO's and SC's I did answer you correctly.

PS - what I post on a forum and what I say in person are not exactly the same thing, innit***
Posted on: 17 June 2006 by Berlin Fritz
I've never said the IPPC is crap; I've said often it's not in my view independent, therefore worthless in the real world.

Fritz von Comments about along the lines of I can't say to much at this stage etc, etc, are simply meaningless, and haven't even been asked for, especially by me at least. The fact that you actually bother to write on this thread then repeat what I'm afraid is sheer drivel Our Andy. I oroiginally put up the official CSO weblink on here, and the Nottingham example, as you well know, as well as not commenting on a very simple question, that has absolutely no relevance to wether you're a copper a fireman or an MP cum clergyman. I'll ask it for the last time, and if you can't answer it, I'll drop it and get onto far more important matters like my dinner preperations.

"If Cso's work 40 hour weeks, can/do they live on their wage alone?" It's not rocket science, it's a very simple question, that your ducking and diving, as with most so-called police related issues on here, and I'd hardly be likely to ask you something along those lines anyway, now would I, no more than I'd ask Our Bruce (who I assume really is a GP) for medical comments, innit?

IF CSO's are PSCO's - Yes.

Perhaps you would like to give me an example of where I have ducked and dived on a case, currently under invesitgation, that I have personal knowledge of that has been mentioned here or on PFM?

I have put my views on various other issues of this nature before, and given my reasoning. The fact you suggest I am being evasive is your view, not mine. The justification/reasoning for me not commenting on certain other issues discussed here is blooody obvious...

I've never asked you any question along those lines, because I simply learned many moons afore that this is your one and only favourite topic, ie, bringing it up at every given opportunity, and taking no critique of the Police in any wave shape or form, all very boringly so actually Our Andy. So thank you for finally answering that question, strange we've never ever seen one interviewed referring to their working life innit? When you consider that Gordon Brown openly said to parliament not long ago that some 160,000 new ones will be on the beat within the next few years. In my world as you mention PSCO's are daily called CSO's by themselves and by other coppers, and the media, the website alone makes it blatantly obvious that they're trying to convince the world they're real coppers, and in fact real police gumf is subtley intertwined with it all, trying to make it more attractive for these certain individuals with 'the calling', God help us all, that's what I say*
