Axent/Axess mounting

I'm getting this little urge to spend some money (SWMBO will probably talk me out of it, though). Just thinking ... could you mount the Axess or Axent using an nSat bracket? If not they wouldn't really work for me, alas.

I've just dragged out one of my spare n-Sat brackets to see if there's any way this could be done but, other than screwing four mounting pieces into an Axess (not a good idea...) then I'm afraid not John.
Can't you mount a discreet shelf perhaps?

The problem is that the AV room layout is very restricted in its options (small, fixed shelving etc). Currently my TV sits on the wall on a shelf, with the nCent below it on an nSat bracket, with the nSub and a custom made maple unit housing various Naim "bits" next to the nSub.
I think that to fit a shelf for an Axent or Axess I would have to raise the TV shelf, but a bank of 4 power sockets is fitted to the wall just above the shelf (legacy of when I used to have my office desk, computer etc there). So I would either have to get an electrician to move those sockets elsewhere (all actually in use!) or site the shelf above them, which would mean the raising the height of the TV (already a little higher than I would really like) quite a bit more.
I'll have to have a think, but unless a better centre would make an enormous improvement, I may decide to spend my money elsewhere. XPS2 for the nDAc possibly?

The leverage on an n-Sat type bracket if used with an Axess or Axent would be incredible - the Axent is several times heavier than the n-Cent.
The n-Cent is a damn good centre in itself - wouldn't one of those do what you want? (And could be wall mounted.)

You could ask Naim if an Axess could be retro-fitted with the necessary mounting-screws, but the size of the Axess paired with it's wait would be quite a strain on the n-Bracket and the wall.
How much room do have underneath your TV?

I already have an nCent. Thanks. I was just debating whether an Axess or Axent would be a worthwhile upgrade in my small AV room.
Having thought about it a bit more, I think I'll just stick with the nCent and buy another new "toy" instead. After all, a better centre would possibly "unbalance" the system as it stands (n-system). Think I'll arrange with my dealer to audition an XPS2 with my nDAC/DVD5.
Green Alex : the nCent sits with its top about 3cm below the TV shelf, and the nSub etc sit about 6cm below the bottom of the nCent. As I said ... not much room.

well, this is now not important anymore, as you won't go through with it, but as the Axess is quite a bit wider than the n-Sub you would be able to use wall mounts (basically two arms like some use for TTs) which could be mounted left and right of the n-Sub and the Axess could then be placed on those.
so it is possible. but demoing a few options is certainly not a bad idea
