Wouldnt it make life so much better if ALL forum members would fill in their respective PPs
To allow us all to know what gear people have without having to ask questions like........"which speakers do you run with your system".? Just a thought. Scotty

Absolutely Scotty, and keep that profile up to date as well. I've recently found it frustrating trying to 'help' someone whose system no longer had any of the CD players that he'd listed. So my suggestion of FC2x etc was pretty much a waste of time.
Rant over!

I do not know why all forum members don't use their real names and approx location. After all nothing is secret these days. Anyone who really wants to track me down will. And probably be disappointed!

Massimo,
Fascinating news about the XS! I think it's an absolutely brilliant piece of kit.
Mine is so good, it makes me ask 'why go any further?' Funnily enough I was going to suggest one in your earlier thread but I wondered if you might think it a step too far! I look forward to your reports in Hi-fi Corner.
And now back to Scotty's thread......
Best, Chris

So 555 you live at or near....no one attacks me with impunity ? thats as clear as mud then.!
But my point is that in your case for instance if we knew roughly where members lived then we could recommend dealers /shops etc.
I will take a guess and say that you probably live on a scottish island.
am i close ?

Crawley ?

The phrase "ten bob behind" comes from a documentary I once saw on the politics of Coronation St. I recall Hilda turning to Stan and saying [adopts thick Lancastrian accent],"You see Stan, the trouble with the likes of us is we're going to spend the rest of our lives ten bob behind".

Here
A freer translation of Nemo me impune lacessit used by a old friend of mine from Ardnamurchan, for whom it was also the motto on the family crest, was: 'No-one touches me without regretting it'.
