Hydra - Spare

I have a 5 into 1 Hydra, and currently use all 5 leads. However, due to some experimenting I'll only be using 4 of the leads, and 1 will be redundant.
Question is, does this cause a problem, such as RF pickup or something else.
Longer term I would trade back to 5way for a 4way, but at the moment I'm just experimenting.
