Getting into the 800 titles and sick of the fricking jewel cases of CDs, I bought a CD portfolio for those that I very seldom listen to but thinking of going that route with ALL my collection. Music servers are still not there and my Squezzebox is nice but far away from my Reimyo. Any ideas?

I keep all my data cds and dvds in plastic sleeves, and am thinking of doing the same with my music cds. The sleeves are cheap, around £5 for 100, and have a soft liner to protect the playing surface. Each holds either two cds or one cd and the booklet. One sleeve with two cds takes up about half the space of a jewel case and is much easier to handle.
I think they make boxes to take large numbers of sleeves with an index, although I have not looked into this as my cd collection is fairly small, and where to store my vinyl collection of around 1000 lps is a more urgent concern!
