There is an Arena film on BBC4 tonight at 9pm featuring Dave Brubeck. Should be well worth watching.

I watched and recorded it. I thought it was really well done. I've never been a great lover of Dave Brubeck but there is more there than I thought.

A fascinating insight to one of the few jazz artists I like.He seems to have almost as much energy now as when he started.
Some excellent guests giving good information, a well made piece.
Interesting in saying, being on the cover of Time was a breakthrough,the first cover for a jazz man, the lucky bit they (decided?) to feature a white man.
Jamie Callum's a shit drummer too.

Mind you he had a lucky break in WWII, but for that truck turning up jazz could have missed out on a great performer.
