I like him Andy, have a couple of his early album which are wonderful. Not going to see him tho, can't stand those sheds. I even went to see Wham! in the early days.

George is ace, especially the weirder ones. Underrated song writer IMO. The south bank show on him was great, some superb music.

Great songwriter, great songs, I prefer the emotional one's which give a good insight into the the human Psyche, particularly where love and loss are concerned. To be honest I haven't bought anything since 'listen with prejudice' which was superb but very poorly promoted by Sony and led to him not putting any product out for years and eventually getting out of that contract. I think a bit like Elton John (but without the back catalogue) he appears to the mainstream but still maintaining a degree of credibility. No idea what his shows are like tho. It will be good if Andy reports back.
