Remote Control batteries

Is anybody else having this problem:

I initiate about two commands from my Nait 5 remote every day. Ussually i can't find it or I just prefer to get up.

Still, the batteries in my remote drain almost monthly. This does not seem normal to me. My TV remote seems to go 6-9 months (AND it gets much more use out of only two aaa batteries).

What gives?

No this isn't normal. I've only changed the batteries once in my Remote (for 82) in 5 plus years.

Is it possible that one of the keys is sticking - ie permanently sending some kind of signal?

I concur. Should last the best part of a year with average use.

Do not use the 'items' supplied by Naim - they are shite.
