Advice please

I need some direction for new CD purchases.
I've been into the shops for the last couple of weekends and bought very little. I bought Eric Bibb, Painting Signs and Lambchop, Is A Women on recommendations from this forum and loved them, but on listening to other albums by the same artists can't really find much that appeals. same with Joni Mitchell, loved Blue, can't find any others that give me the same enjoyment.
Any suggestions of albums by these artists that are similar to the ones mentioned.

P.S. Am listening to Keb' Mo' at the moment , self-titled 1994 album (another forum recommendation) and would thoroughly recommend it to others.

Joni Michell - Blue is her best album (IMO) but close behind is 'Court and Spark' then 'Hissing of the summer lawns'

Eric Bibb's 'Roadworks'.

This weekend I have been giving the briks/135's a work out on the Radio Birdman. Not to everyone's taste, but if you ever wished the Clash could have rocked out like the Pink Fairies with a pinch of New York Dolls this is it.

Hmm. Sounds interesting. "Roadworks" is apparently an album by a band named Motorpsycho. I'm not finding it as a Radio Birdman record. Jez, which album by them are you referring to?

'Roadworks' is a live Eric Bibb CD

Radio Birdman were an Australian rock/punk band in the mid/late seventies, their CD 'The Essential Radio Birdman' contains most of their recordings.
