Interesting - I have often wondered what Sensor cleaning involved on the other makes of DSLR
About one third of the way thru
this movie it shows the automatic sensor cleaning process.
Am I glad I do not get the need to do it.

Just as a matter of interest, does the Olympus inform the user when the 'dust catcher' is full?

The dust catcher is a sticky pad that is changed when the camera is serviced. From reports I have read from other users no one has raised this as an issue. The amount of dust deposited being a function of the number of lens changes and power on cycles.

Nice idea.
The dust got onto my sensor because I wasn't even aware of the problem and I changed lenses without waiting for a minute or so.... One particle was visible even at f5.6!
Since then I've been a tad more careful, hey presto no dust on the sensor. The pro's I've met that have 10 and 20Ds seem to have no problems at all, but just clean the sensor every 3 months or so as a matter of course.
