Next we will be having wooden sleeves around our kit, which will be no bad thing!!!

I believe Mick Parry will be on all the design teams ;-)

Those bare wire connecters into his speakers look a bit suspect though ... especially as the cable looks like something he had left over from wiring his front door bell
Contrary to comments made earlier in this thread, I regard silver boxes with wooden surrounds as tacky and vulgar.
Black is a pure colour and has an ageless sense of class about it. Silver, bronze and gold etc only induces a sense of fashion similar to the mid eighties when perfectly good kit was scrapped because it was sivler and black became cool.
The main point of Hifi equipment is that you should hear the music and forget about the equipment. That is impossible with garish silver and wooden boxes staring you in the face.
The thought of those hideous monstosities plonked on a pile of Mana beggers belief. That revolting sight, would be too awful, even for Vuk.
I strongly urge you to disregard this vulgar trend.
Regards
Mick......black is beautiful baby
I agree about the silver bit, but disagree about the wooden sleeve bit. Those Creek tuners or Armstrong amplifiers looked well cool.

...and then there's the DNM amplifiers with their smokey see-through acrylic cases. Nice.
