... that was just too much. Just come home from a record shop where they have a special listening room for classical music. They have meanwhile replaced the barely acceptable small B&W speakers by sparkling new Bose Acoustimasses.
Even writing the name of the brand makes me shiver - I've just gone through an absolutely horrible experience that's going to stay in my memory for years. The stuff truly hurt my ears, it is just beyond belief - my mother's kitchen radio sounds better. How the hell can
- the biggest speaker manufacturer produce such things
- and even sell such things
- and how can an (otherwise quite good) record shop torture that way the ears of his customers ? After thirty seconds, I had to flee.
This guy has by no means exaggerated in his homepage !
