still busy at dimexs?

i sent my nait 1 last march 2 for a recap to dimexs and dimexs haven't contacted me yet.does anyone out there know how long will it take before i get my nait? i miss my amp already!

Did you get a quote for the work before sending it in? Reason I ask as I too have a Nait 1 that is need of a service. It is currently doing TV duty so its not a rush, but I am interested in the cost. If you don't mind, let me know.

Yes quite busy.
Your Nait recap has been done today.
It will be on test for the weekend, so will be ready to be shipped on monday or tuesday.
You should have received a quote, as recap prices are fix per model, we just call if we find something extra has to be changed (expensive parts like pot, output transistors...), and this is not your case.

it's $277.63 including parts and labor.pretty expensive but worth every penny.and thanks to manu for the reply.

Any chance Dimexs will send down a 552 to Windsor so I can demo it with my CDS2/52/500 ACT 2? Of course you understand that at this level no one wants to spill out the cash for a new component unless one hears it first. If so, Dimexs should call Audio Two. I hope something can be set up.

Sorry Dave, i can't answer for Dimexs on this one.
You should ask Audio2, they can probably arrange something with Dimexs. Or email direct to Dimexs (info@dimexs.com).
