How's the burndy?

I know the topic has been touched upon in some threads, but may I ask a specific quesiton:
How big an improvement is the new XPS2 burndy cable when used with an original XPS and CDS2?

How much does it cost? I have considered this move, but am really saving for a 552, so have decided to put it off until I get the 552 and am in a position to consider whatever naim has to offer after that.
I am in Windsor where Canada Day and July 4 are blended into one continuous whole with Detroit. Hopefully not a sign of things to come.
