nac 282, power supplies and stageline

Hello. i presently have a stageline (new, ie two din connectors). i plan to purchase the nac 282
1) can you use a flatcap 2x with the nac 282 and stageline?
2) i know you can plug the stageline into the nac for power but I'd rather plug it into the second din on the flatcap (while the nac is in the first power supply din).
As i understand it there is a second independent power supply within. Is this possible?
i've been over the pdf's and can't figure it out.
