I heard this morning a track thats driving me mad as I can't remember what it is or who did it.
It is from around the early 70's and sounds like mid american rock, the riff running all the way through it is like Beck - Loser. It mentions many times "silver Dollar" and is similar to Sweet Home Alabama. Someone please!!!!!!

Am7 D
Not gonna let them catch the midnight rider
I don't own the clothes I'm wearing
And the road goes on forever

Not gonna let them catch the midnight rider
BRIDGE:

I've gone past the point of caring
Some old bed I'll soon be sharing
And I've got one more silver dollar
But I'm not gonna let them catch me, no
Not gonna let them catch the midnight rider
No I'm not gonna let them catch me, no
Not gonna let them catch the midnight rider (repeat both lines 2X)

Midnight Rider isn't on Fillmore East, at least not the US release.

Yes, I have the single ;-)
Computers are supposed to work on 1's and 0's - in other words "Yes" or "No" - why does mine frequently say "Maybe"?......

It's on these albums (original recording studio version)
Idlewild South and Beginnings (a combo of first two albums)

Beg your pardon, I should have said it's the "Deluxe edition" which has a load of extra tracks on it.
