Find DVD5 firmware version ?

Hi there,

Quick question, what is the button combination to find out the firmware version running on a DVD5 ?

Also, quickie on the SCART connection, should I expect to see DVD playback on the SCART, or not ?

With dvd selected on the remote, press and hold the "disp" key. The display should cycle through the firmware versions.

Looks like it's Press and Hold the Prog button for the DVD5.

Yes, you should be able to see DVD video on the SCART output. The DVD5 allows composite and RGB/YPbPr interlaced output, switchable from the video setup, SCART options in the setup menu.

If you are not seeing an output via SCART, check that the interlaced setting is switched "on" in the "video outputs" section (DVc0101/112 firmware->

The easy way to check this is to press the setup button on the remote with SCART connected to suitable monitor and the setup menu should appear, then you can check the above.
