Decent flippin Olive Oil
Posted by: Diccus62 on 30 May 2007
We scour the shelves of Sainsbury's for a decent olive oil, do we find one, do we heck. Nice bottles though. Last decent Olive Oil I had was from Paxos, sold in the local supermarket.

Diccus,
Sorry for lowering the tone and sniggering from the back but "Getoily" does sound like an "extra" service available for a fee. Glad you have found a decent oil that you like.
Regards
Nic

I like the peppery and thick description, how does it taste compared to the oil from Paxos?

Paxos was about 8 years ago and i've forgotten, I think it was lighter though. I'll just have to go again to check it out

Jet,
Surely it is a sign of maturity, the lad will soon be wearing matching "Rufus" (Wainwright) pants to go with the Judy Garland CD's. Not a patch on Niall's disco pants of course.

Where is the icon for 'snoring' when you need one
White wine + olive oil = gay male. Nice to see you boys giving the North East a great name in contemporary thinking

Diccus you mistake the ironic comments for a dig at both youself and our "pink" brothers. Not so, I am comfortable with both white white, olive oil, Judy Garland and for that matter the Carpenters.

Twas more a dig at Johnson who likes his beer with twigs in and his pork scratchings with hair growing out of them. He's just gutted he wasn't drinking 'white' wine with 'le' boys the other Friday as it took him 2 months not to arrange childminding

I don't think it is there anymore. The 'Pink' Quarter is now thriving with loads of bars and clubs.
