Closed on mondays

Posted by: Stephen Tate on 30 January 2006

Hi,
Why is the respectable BADA dealers closed on mondays Confused
Does anyone know the answer?... it just does not make any sense to me at all.

Isn't it rather like a fish & chip shop being closed for lunch? More like out to lunch!

regards

Could it have anything to do with the fact that they are open all day saturday and this is to make up for the day thay miss at the weekend?
A lot of people can't get to them during the week, so saturday opening is required.

It's a right bu**er when that happens isn't it!

Where abouts are you in the uk? Far from Glostershire?

I do know of a Naim dealer who would help in emptying your wallet without much problem!

They claw back a bit of Saturday, do stock keeping and admin, lieten to stuff and most important of all, allow me to keep equipment on loan for an extra day. That's the Bath experience anyway.

I guess i'll just have to wait til tomorrow as my local audio t is about a five minute walk away, and demoing will be easy.

i'll just have to stay away from my local yamaha shop, oh... and the juicer.

'Closed on Mondays' has saved me quite a bit of money ... by Tuesday for me sanity often prevails.

hi rotf,

I pick it up next week, cant wait, these last few days... time has passed very slowly indeed, although the entertainment side of things has not been exactly stagnate of late. Smile

My current p3 will be going in the loft for my son, perhaps for his birthday sometime and i hope to be staying in listening to many hours of vinyl. If i can keep away from the bike! Big Grin

Will post back when i collect my big dent in the stash(but worth it) P9! Smile
Many thanks.

Cheers, steve

I think that is a nice deck, and I am glad for me it is Monday, as I might have had to get a (black) version and an expensive phono-stage. Whenever I'm about to buy nice new t'table etc, my wife reminds me that I hardly ever buy new vinyl, although I still have a lot of old vinyl left.

I do appreciate seeing picture of P9 though and hope you get as much fun from it as I had when I believed in LP12.

Now I believe in LP12/P9/full Orbe & maybe some cheaper same-marque models/The Funk Firm/cheapest Pro-Ject...
