Galapagos Islands - any experiences please

Apologies for entering into MP mode - I am interested in visiting the Galapagos Islands - so I am eager to hear from any one who has been there - what was good - what to avoid eg type/size of ship, tour company etc.

No experiences, but there's a tv programme on tonight at 7.00pm, BBC2, that is the first in a three-parter portraying the islands.
