Naim Prefix

Does anyone have any experience/advice on the upgrade from the on-board phono boards(K-type) in the 52/supercap to a K-type Prefix ? I plan initially to power the Prefix from the 52, and then get a Hi-Cap later. (Cartridge is Lyra Helikon)

I have a Helkon "SL" that I'm using with my "K" prefix into the 52. Works fine, but make sure you get the low output "SL" version of the Helikon.

You should email or talk to Cris Koster of NANA regarding this. He has first hand experience with both Helikons. He can tell you which match is the best and what to expect.

Even powered from the 52, it's much better than the internal boards. With a Hi-cap, You really get a huge leap.
