recording radio on cd ?

Well, might have been Paris, Texas; or Sydney, Canada for example.

I use my mac to record stuff and then stick it on cds. However, with music the results have been somewhat disappointing, not quite living up to the original radio broadcast.

However, assuming your computer has a line in, and the right bit of software, it's fairly simple. The only thing that can be a pain is dividing up the recording into individual tracks.

mac records tuner or it's internet fm?

Mac records fm tuner (from hi-fi) or mac records the output of my sky box (set to a radio station).

Not saying it's a bad recording, just that it doesn't seem quite to have the life it did over the radio.

I've also recorded the odd thing via the feed from real player (but I only use that for spoken word stuff, otherwise the sound is beyond terrible).

No I dinnee Mate ! Who sang it, and what label's it on ?

I record directly off my NAT05 onto a stand-alone Philips CD recorder and I am very impressed with the results.

Friends who've heard the CD recording have always assumed it was a live broadcast.
I would be hard pushed to tell the difference to be honest......

Happy to find someone who have good results with tuner recording.
how do you play cd on hifi system (Philips cd or other cdp)
