ID Cards:

Posted by: Berlin Fritz on 26 August 2006

When Germany introduced its new Passports & ID Cards (Which one can travel throughout Europe with by Air, Rail and Sea unhindered, except in the UK) earlier this year (at a fifth of the price quoted by er, British Ministers and their eventual Mickey Mouse version of an effort) I thought to mesen, You know what Fritz! I bet Cameron uses this as an election issue.

Fritz von Personally I think he's making a mistake.

I can't be offended Haggers Old chum that's why I'm still on here educating people, unlike say Our (ex) Arye who's just posted an amusing tale on the old Pink Salmon Show telling the world how much better the IDF are than the Bunch (I feel a one to one on level-ground would prove otherwise somehow, though let's pray God Forbid that never happens, innit!

Fritz von I think The 'True' Afghans have proven that particular point time and time again John don't you!

I think we need to get the hell out of Iraq, must admit that foreign policy isn't one of my strong points..ATB..Larry

I can't understand the logic of folk who continually just get larger hard-drives (unless for a specific reason like DVD's or games). I personally burn all important data onto CD's, bin all the rest on my puter, do a mega clean up, anti-virus run, also remove progs that I never use, do a full on defrag, and the bugger runs as new again, pretty bleedin simple really, and that's what it's designed for (unless one has other motives, ie, selling & buying new kit like company cars every 5 minutes?)!

Fritz von I expect most people are too busy polishing their bloody screens though innit*

Everyone to their own, that's what I always say*

The answer to that Haggers old fruit would be 'None' as they'd all form a committee and call it 'Coping with darkness' mind you that'd be the Trinity College crowd of long term Psychologists though, innit Dave!

Fritz von had some devastatingly mind-blowingly 'surprising' finacial news yesterday from my lawyer, calmly 'advising' me that I won't now be debt free soon after a vist from the baillifs, but must wait another 6 years plus with court costs to-boot (I've calculated that they'll eventually be more than the original debt to the bank, 95% of which I've repaid over the last 10 years), I just wonder who's more corrupt the bank or the court (my only crime being honest and unemployed at the time out of the blue)some holiday, I'd rather be at work listening to the builders next door trying to concentrate on my translations.

P.s. Mr Parry's ridiculous montotonous analogies re: window cleaning do not work here by any stretch of the imagination, otherwise I'd have been doing it long ago, and successfully.

Cheers, this is not a rant, nor a moan, just an inside look at modern day legal life in Germany, Polish cowboys or British for that matter cannot exist, that is the price, and I think it's well worth paying too, though saying that I have no family or kids to look after directly (and I've never said otherwise, innit)*

No more going down the pub for me, it's home brew or nowt*

Not even close. Give up... Five, one to hold the ladder, one to hold the bulb, and the other three to get drunk until the room starts spinning.

Fritz von What a Scam eh?

BBC WS covered an interesting case a few days ago for anybody who's at all at all interested relating to certain US prisons that carry out (Human experimentation) which is frightening to say the least, naturally squaddies (worldwide) are different cos they don't have any rights at all (if a government decides to play games with them, as has been well documented by many lands they will) but prisoners are civilians, innit.

It just isn't fair, is it Our Mick?

Probably a good idea once again to remind folk that there are at least three (established original versions of the Scream) that means Teddy Boy painted at least three versions (Do we Ken Chaps?)

Fritz von Does anybody give a fuck? I guess not, it doesn't affect them personally so why should they? On the same count I'm sure they don't care if a branch of their bank is robbed either innit**

Only insurance innit Chaps!!!

Yes! I can just imagine myself going to live on the other side of the world to get away from it all or whatever with my family then immediately getting together with complete strangers on an internet forum for a beer and chat about dedicated spurs etc?

Fritz von I don't think so somehow, though whatever turns one on I suppose, innit*

No doubt the quality and technology was far superior 10 clicks back too Our Del Boy, innit John?

Fritz von Holzt just doesn't sound the same without Pluto does it Our Fredders?

I was watching an interview with President Clinton earlier on CNN re- World Poverty
(of the Bono-Sir Bobby G. Gang 3) and a few things came to mind. Although he didn't talk politics as such (which is naturally good) and concentrated more upon the fantastic original
Bangladeshi legacy of micro-credits originally implimented some 20 years back (mainly for
women as they're far more reliable to succeed, one pays off a loan then a new loan is granted,
as simple as that innit)(No doubt Our Mick got it all in the Spectator years ago being the
charitable economic genius of a Chap that he claims to us all that he is, not sarcasm, just
attentive comment).

The first UN war was in 1948 ie, Korea (same year as The Berlin Airlift and Palestine, etc, etc,). Many Brits etc, etc participated and I think that many almost saw a relief as they still couldn't get used to Civvy street from WWII, innit (Michael Caine as a first time National Service waller for instance and my own Grandad as classic cases plus many many more naturally ?) and unlike the Great War were 'slightly' more understood
in the psychological sense though possibly not much more officially. Like Churchill, Clinton, Bush the Younger, the Dead Kennedy(s), and myself to-boot I've never seen serious wartime combat (no Boar war puns please, he grew up in the US did Our Winnie, and shot striking Jocks in Glasgow etc, just ask Our Fredders).

Lebanon could be another UN long-term catastrophe in the making and I personally think they should not be there at all, wether Italian, French, British, or whatever (Israeli Blue Berets possibly?). Vietnam is not that long afore (ask any Australian Vet they faught there too, not only John Rambo) so perhaps it's time for the Clintons, Putins, and Bush's of this World to get together and start seriously acting upon their words, this includes King Abdula, Gadaffi, African leaders, China, etc, etc, not too mention Germany, Korea & Japan
too as it will remind is that we are all the same.
